Unlike legacy search engines and word tools, AnagramSolverHub does not require an account, email address, password, or billing information. When you type letters or unscramble words:
- Your rack letters and search queries are processed locally on your device via client-side JavaScript.
- We do not record, store, or profile the words you look up or solve.
- We do not sell, rent, or monetize your search history with data brokers or marketing networks.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device (LocalStorage)
To provide a seamless user experience, AnagramSolverHub uses your web browser's modern localStorage feature to remember non-identifying preferences:
asp_theme: Remembers whether you prefer Dark Mode or Light Mode.asp_sound_enabled: Remembers if you enabled or muted tactile tile clacking sound effects.asp_saved_words: Stores words you deliberately starred or bookmarked into your private Favorites drawer.
This data remains strictly on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time via your browser settings or by clicking "Clear All" in the Saved Words drawer.
3. Third-Party API Requests & Definitions
When you click on a word to view its definition and phonetics, a client-side request is sent to the free public Dictionary API (api.dictionaryapi.dev). This request transmits only the specific English word you clicked to retrieve standard definitions, part of speech, and pronunciation. No personal identifiers or tracker tokens are included in these dictionary queries.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
AnagramSolverHub does not use tracking cookies, cross-site trackers, or fingerprinting scripts. We believe online utilities should be fast, private, and distraction-free.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
AnagramSolverHub is a family-friendly educational tool and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). Because no personal information is collected from any user, our services comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
